Legs – 25th June 2014

Sean Lerwill's physique (credit snhfoto)After yesterday’s rest day (active rest day really, as I ended up doing a 25min run at 8am and another at 3.30pm around Regent’s Park!) I was really looking forward to today’s leg day.

Time caught up with today and I almost wasn’t able to train. In the end I trained with one of my clients as it was his leg day too. We pushed each other hard and both left the gym hardly able to walk down the stairs!

Our session was:

Tempo throughout was slow and controlled 3020.

  1. Leg press 4sets: 3sets 15reps, 1set 12reps + 2dropsets (20-30%) 8reps each
  2. Single leg leg press 4sets: sets 15reps, 1set 12reps + 2dropsets (20-30%) 8reps each
  3. Leg press calf raise: sets 15reps, 1set 12reps + 2dropsets (20-30%) 8reps each
  4. Lying leg curl: sets 15reps, 1set 12reps + 2dropsets (20-30%) 8reps each
  5. Leg extension: sets 15reps, 1set 12reps + 2dropsets (20-30%) 8reps each
  6. Seated calf raise: sets 15reps, 1set 12reps + 2dropsets (20-30%) 8reps each

I was then lucky enough to have a seat at BAFTA in central London to watch the beautiful Kate Braithwaite in the film Crude.
