As many of you will know I often work with MaxiNutrition to put together content that will help people reach their fitness, health and performance goals. A little while ago I was asked to put together a series of fitness videos with different specific aims for each on. One of which is shown below:

The idea behind this six pack workout was to give people a few exercises they can string together to give the abs a strong workout; ab exercises that if done properly, really do train the abs properly. And to show the technique I use when I perform them myself.

Just remember with abs training; it won’t give you a six pack alone. If you are itching to see those abs for summer, your main aim should be a calorie controlled diet that sees you eating fewer calories than you need (by around 10-20%) for at least 6-8 weeks, ideally 10-12. While undertaking a progressive and intense (two of the most important words in the fitness world) training programme concentrating on resistance training rather than LISS cardio.

I’m going to put a different video out each Saturday over the next few weeks, so look out for the other MaxiNutrition/Sean Lerwill videos.
