As a personal trainer, model, Maximuscle ambassador and actor, I obviously try to look after myself to the best of my ability. At the end of the day my appearance, health and fitness helps earn me money, as does my knowledge of fitness and ways and means of staying fit.

Since leaving the Marines, my knowledge of nutrition and how to eat to stay fit and healthy, and in particular to maintain an aesthetically pleasing physique, has dramatically increased. Since teaming with Maximuscle, my personal use of supplements has certainly increased, not to mention my understanding of when and how to use them. However, I still found that although I will tell my clients to use certain supplements, I myself was still making do with Promax, Promax Diet, Cyclone, HMB and ZMA, oh, and my healthy addiction to (nearly) every bar that Maximuscle and Maxitone produce (Olly Foster, I know how you feel!). Well, I’ve decided to get my hand on a good load of supplements, try them for 4-6weeks and see if I notice any real changes.

So, I am now the proud owner of carnitine, glutamine, tyrosine, vitamin B12, vitamin D, vitamin E, DAA (turbotest), ALA, epimedium sagittatum and CLA (which I do take via Promax diet anyway). I’ve also decided to start using casein as my last protein shake of the day.

I guess (for the short while anyway) you’ll be able to hear me coming from the rattling of pills…
